The greatest news, friends!...I’m officially back! Let’s do some wonderful publishing!
To be honest, I was rearing to go before leaving. We’re coming back with a hefty list of submissions for the late Summer and early Fall season, and I’m so so ready to do this work!
In addition to having planned what to go out with as soon as I return, other things on my horizon is booking meetings with editors (this is a good practice for any of you hopeful publishing professionals if you find you’ll be gone for an extended time – it never hurts to touch base and just ask what they’re looking for, especially as we enter a busy season such as Fall). It’s always a good practice to spend some of your summer speaking with editors because things quiet down a bit during those holiday months due to all the vacations everyone is taking! So while you’re available and presumably someone else isn’t traveling, book some time with them whether that’s in-person or remotely).
Then last…to celebrate my return, I open for queries again! For the month of July! I’m looking to take on new clients beyond my referrals. For updates on that opening, please feel free to follow me at @goodkwento.nfm where I will be posting updates, instructions, suggestions as more!
